Zhu Yingyuan: gradually gradual progress, rest means to recuperate
“Gradually . Rest”, the three art exhibition of the
curatorial thought, to a great extent from Zhu Yingyuan’s understanding of art
and his attitude: “gradually, gradually gradual progress, accumulate little comes abundance; rest, means to stop, bring recovery.”
This is not only a learning process, but also an artistic attitude. Zhu
Yingyuan loved sculpture, because he loved it, so everything was logical.
Though he was torn up, he enjoyed it.
“Zhu Yingyuan’s personal creation characteristics,
often ‘sense and form’, seize the moment of emotion and inspiration, the inner
emotional feelings into a three-dimensional ‘sculpture’, flashing out the
spirit of temperament. From Zhu Yingyuan’s works, we can clearly see his
mentoring relationship, which is the influence of Professor Wu Yalin from
Guangzhou Acmdemy of Fine Arts. The two disciples both like poems and songs, and
tend to move to the East in aesthetic appreciation.” Dr. Han Xiaonan, Professor
of Sculpture Department of Guangzhou Acmdemy of Fine Arts, commend like that.
Due to the long time follow Wu Yalin’s work and
study, the influence of mentor is subtle. “I think the more important and
precious thing is the rigorous scholarship attitude of the teacher. It is this
attitude that many problems have been well solved through these little
amendments and accumulation, and this process has also strengthened its tough character.
Because of this sharpening, let me more calm.” As Zhu Yingyuan said.
